Lost Adventures was founded by Mikkel Legarth from Denmark. He co-founded “Modisa Wildlife Project,” a wildlife conservation project in Botswana featured in the award-winning series "Saving Sirga: Journey into the Heart of a Lion," available on Netflix.
Lost Adventures is named after a leopard called Lost who Mikkel cared for while volunteering in Namibia in 2008 and 2009. His experiences and the close bond he formed with the leopard prompted Mikkel to let go of his dream of becoming a commercial pilot to co-found Modisa Wildlife Project and Lost Adventures.
Mikkel has carefully selected a variety of great and unforgettable adventures that focus on wildlife, marine and community experiences. Each project will offer you something different, but they all have one thing in common – they will give you an adventure of a lifetime!
